Description:

Responsibilities will be to work within a team of engineers from various disciplines, responding to the increasing demands associated with the increasing production and sustainment of standard and custom hardware designs to achieve customer requirements. This will involve responding to procurement, manufacturing, testing, and sustainment issues. Functions of the position includes troubleshooting of analog, digital, high voltage, and RF Circuits down to the component level while interfacing directly with internal; and external clients to explain failure modes, fault isolation, and maintenance procedures. The selected candidate must have the initiative to identify, resolve, and reduce potential problems through continuous learning, working with experienced Subject Matter Experts, and self-teaching using engineering documentation and product manuals.Responsibilities will also include the modification of existing hardware designs. The selected candidate will work closely with other members of the development team in translating system performance and operational specifications into hardware functional requirements, and achieving those requirements in design, test, and verification. This opportunity employs classic design techniques, power electronics knowledge, and hands-on laboratory skills.
